Applications for listening to the audio Bible

Holy Bible in audio JFA

We are facing a very simple application, but at the same time very complete. As we open it, it takes us directly to the first verses of the first biblical book, Genesis.

In this reading interface we have a completely clean screen, except for a magnifying glass with which we can search the text and a selector with which we can quickly change books.

Furthermore, we will be able to select verses and highlight them with colors, save them as bookmarks or make notes about them.

We may remove advertising from the app by paying a fee and setting up 90, 180 and 360 day reading plans.

This way, the application will select how much you should read per day to complete the reading in the selected time.

We will also be able to overview all our bookmarks and notes, switch to night mode for more comfortable reading and send feedback to the developer.

Audio Bible

On the main page we find a small preview of the verse where we left off reading last time which gives us the ability to continue reading, further down we will find a series of verses of the day that the application selects automatically.

If we open the side menu, we can access a view of all the biblical books divided between the Old and New Testaments, alongside a tab called progress where we can see percentages of our progress in reading.

Finally, we will also have the ability to take notes and save portions of the text as bookmarks.

Holy Bible Offline + Audio

The home screen offers us various content in the form of cards. Furthermore, it gives us the ability to download the holy scriptures so that we can listen to them offline and so that God accompanies us wherever we go.

Then, he suggests a verse for the day and some plans to get closer to the Lord, such as spending 21 days of fasting or saying daily prayers.

In short, with this application, we will be able to read or listen to the text without an internet connection.

In this case, navigation through the menus is done through some icons at the bottom of the screen, iPhone style.

We will be able to go to the section where all the biblical books are shown where it will give us the option to read or listen to them.

We will have a section dedicated exclusively to the plans already mentioned to bring us closer to God, where we will find more suggestions and can add them to “My Plans”.

In addition, it offers us a selection of readings to help us with specific topics such as love or anxiety.

Finally, we have a personal dashboard where we can view our notes or share progress with friends via Facebook.
